Established in 1923, the Clitheroe section of the National Clarion is a historic cycling club. Following a decline in numbers since the 1980's, a few former members recently decided to reboot the club and this garnered interest from new members.

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, Clitheroe is the perfect place to start a ride. With the dramatic Forest of Bowland on our doorstep and beyond that the stunning Yorkshire Dales, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to fantastic rides with breathtaking views.

We currently have a Sunday social ride which is a long ride at a steady pace and occasional midweek rides. No-one gets left behind and new riders are made to feel very welcome.

We also have a jersey which is available for purchase to members. All are welcome to join us on a ride, then maybe consider taking a membership with it's many benefits.
